If you’re obsessed with poles, dim or red lights, plush seats, curtained side rooms or table tops made for dancing, then you probably have an earnest interest in pole dancing. And you have likely visited your fair share of pole dancing clubs in order to survey the best dancing instructors, at least since you’ve been of age. Before your blues become too painful to bear, head to one (or more) of these pole dancing clubs and take a few lessons from the pole dancing pros. If thong entertainment has always been a big part of your escape—and you’ve got more than money to blow—then get your friends together for an evening of adult beverages, saucy talk and delightful pole dancing lessons anywhere on earth. And don’t forget a fistful of tips for the dancers (errr... instructors)!
Pole Dancing Teacher
Cocoa Beach, Florida: Florida has been a partier’s escape for escapades for decades now. It’s no wonder that they have some of the finest pole dancing establishments. Cheaters is a favorite chimera where you’ll wake up with more than beer spilt on your shorts (pretzel crumbs?). They offer close-up instruction in lap dancing and pole dancing all with a ready supply of beer, wine and a full bar. Lean in and get a closer look so you understand each and every move. For an added treat, Cheaters offers some of the best ethnically mixed dance teachers from Puerto Rico, Cuba and other far-flung islands delivering gyrating lesson after lesson (after lesson..) to the thumping music so your heart will be working over time throughout the night. As a bonus, Cheaters offers extra large drink coasters for note-taking.

Tokyo, Japan: If you’ve ever lived or traveled in Asia, then you know how the local men love to get together, enjoy adult refreshments and have fun. There are no repercussions here when you get tipsy (i.e. $#!+-faced) at the office party. The Seventh Heaven pole dancing club is home to more multi-ethnic dancers than you’d believe. There are even American girls who, in spite of making a decent teaching paycheck, either quit or work part time to spiral upside-down down smooth brass demonstrating some of the finer pole dancing moves to eager patrons (students) with fistfuls of tips. This is definitely a place where the Yen could win you a private show for more than a dance lesson (possibly a free soft drink?).

Moscow, Russia: The party scene in Russia happens any time of day, so don’t take my word that any one pole dancing club is better than another. The one place I’ve picked here, however, is clean and well oiled. Almost anything goes in Night Flight, a palace where all classes can mingle, eat a bite, smoke a cigar and join in the pole dancing fun. The lovely teachers slide up and down the shiny pole, swinging around the stage and taking you point by point through the lesson plan. Is that a textbook in your pocket? Don’t worry if you can’t speak Russian as the teachers speak the language of Money Talks. Night Flight isn’t cheap, but it’s worth the expensive drinks and heckling camaraderie.

Krakow, Poland: If I haven’t offended you already, then give me a little more time. The Prestige Night Club in Krakow Poland will close down its doors if there is a big enough group pole dancing students, say for a birthday or bachelor party. The discreet rooms shade their own private dancers (I mean instructors), and each one has some sort of attitude to match your own. The club attracts gorgeous dance instructors from all over Eastern Europe, who come to work for some of the best Euro tips. All ethnicities are welcome, from blond bombshells to brunette beasts.

Ljubljana, Slovenia: We have found the place where all the hottest dancers go to get wild, dance so hard they have to take some clothes off and demonstrate the most complex pole dancing moves to wild male dance students (or female students). The Escape Night Club is open only for a couple hours late at night, so you’ll have to be extra eager to spend your wad (of Euros) during the 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. hours. On Grabloviceva Street (totally coincidence), head to the Orto Bar sign and find the private entrance.

Vancouver, Canada: In case you aren’t leaving too far from home, try the Paramount Dance Club in Vancouver. A VIP Platinum Room allows more space for private dance lessons and goes for $100 to $300 dollars. Discounts can be found online, with free weekend dance lessons if you bring a coupon and girls always get in free. Purple and pink lights flutter about, making this a fantasy place to learn the best pole dancing moves from the most thorough teachers. The weekend has the longest hours, where five different dance teachers will show you how to shake it to five different songs for $100 USD—consider this your contribution to the bailout of the troubled economy!
