We had a Canon portable printer years ago. It worked OK, but wasn't the easiest thing to keep running. It got beat up a lot when being tossed around. (We traveled 50,000 miles a year by car). Fortunately, after a time it became easier to drop into Kinkos for quick printing or email the document to a friend who could print it for us.
