What is the Top Rated Remote Tower Fan?
The following showcase of the best tower fans with remote controls have been selected on the basis of two main factors - that they i) offer exceptional value (with regards to their accompanying price tag) and ii) they are very well regarded by their users (and as tower fans they perform like you would want & also surpass what you would expect them to do). All of the fans on show are particularly ideal for domestic use (e.g. to be used in the living room or the bedroom, where the remotes save you the hassle of getting up to alter the fan settings at its panel base) as well as being very well suited to a professional working environment (all taking on a unique, smooth & sleek professional look).
The 3x (44") w/ Passive Noise Reduction tech By Ozeri
Dimensions: 45.8 x 13.8 x 6.5 inches | Weight: 13.4 lbs |
The '3x' tower-fan is one of the most popular models on the market and it is pretty much hands down -- literally one of 'the best tower fans for the money'. All the settings and configurations can be controlled through its 'extra' long range remote control such as: the three independent fans and the accompanying 3 separate speed settings (i.e a total of 9 customisable air flow levels at hand), along with its oscillation settings as well as the programmable timer (whereby you can alter the fan speeds at 30 minute increments to operate on whatever level you choose).

Moreover, it also utilises a unique (& patented) passive noise reduction technology with canted and specially molded fan blades that act to isolate and prevent sound waves -- this in turn keeps the noise levels produced to an absolute minimum (no louder than your local library -- apprx 32-35 dB, depending on the settings) -- as well as acoustic dampening technology to improve sound quality, all this has in turn allowed it to be selected as one of the quietest tower fans available. We also rather admire its well thought-out design -- it very much reminds us of a stand up speaker and with it sitting on a glass base (a particularly nice touch) makes it 'more than' suitable for any modern working/domestic setting/
The 2551 (Platinum) w/ Remote Control & Fresh Air Ionizer By Lasko
Dimensions: 13 x 13 x 42.5 inches | Weight: 10.6 lbs |
Engineered, manufactured and designed by the very reputable (cooling and heating devices) company Lasko -- the 2551 is a stellar, 'lead of the range' and very popular fan unit, that is extremely well regarded by its users (sourced through Amazon, Walmart reviews) and the reasoning for this is quite simple: for such a low price, you are getting a premium fan. As it is so tall (42.5 inches, relative to other models) and has a wind curve profile (that is used in tandem with a unique oscillation system) it spreads a huge cooling air flow quickly and evenly across a room (whilst purifying the air with its ionizer mechanism).

Credit: Amazon.com -- DysonLike most tower fans it operates on a 3 air flow speed setting basis (this and all other settings such as its energy saving timer that operates up to 7.5 hrs can be altered either at is base panel or through the remote control). This particular model is also certified and registered with the CTL and eCTL (hence is clear to be used for commercial settings).
The Air Multiplier AM02 (Bladeless) By Dyson
Dimensions: 9.8 x 7.5 x 39.7 inches | Weight: 12.8 lbs |
Although, the Dyson Air multiplier is pretty expensive this unit has to be (for me personally) 'the' best oscillating tower fan with a remote. It just has so many little clever features and designs that are so simple, yet are just genuis & entirely practical such as the remote control being magnetised so it can just lay nicely and simply on the top of the tower fan. Moreover, as an actual tower unit -- nothing else really compares -- as you can select the 'precise' air flow setting (through its dimmer switch control) that is optimal for you (as seen above they are usually set at 3 different speeds).
Also, the quality of the air flow is far better due to it being a much smoother and relaxing one than you get with a typical bladed fan - which instead tend to offer a more irritating buffeted air flow. Furthermore, if you haven't already realised (but after seeing the image above, I'm sure you have), the fact the AM02 is bladeless is not only a hugely cool factor (certainly an interesting talking point) which makes the AM02 & all the other Dyson fans in the air multiplier range that much more unique, it is also a very practical design. As it poses many benefits such as making it safe around curious kids as well as being super easy to clean. The AMo2 can also get very powerful -- where it is able to amplify by up to 14 times 9.51 gallons of air every second through the process of inducement and entrainment. A truly awesome & beautifully crafted fan! Great for whole room cooling.
