This 2011 game is a sequel to the 2009 title Batman: Arkham Asylum, using the Batman superhero character made famous of course by DC Comics. This is the best new video game for 2011 Christmas. , who was also in Arkham Asylum), the Joker (Mark Hamill, from Star Wars fame), and characters like Quincy Sharp, Victor Zsasz, Jack Ryder, Bane, Riddler, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Commissioner Gordon, Two-Face, Alfred Pennyworth, and more. In addition to Batman, playable characters include Robin, Nightwing, and Catwoman who has her own kind of Detective Mode called “Thief Vision”. Her combat mode is based on acrobatics and is just as fun to play as Batman’s.

ARKHAM CITY MISSIONS AND WEAPONS

The city of Arkham in this game is over five times bigger a location than the earlier Asylum game, giving the user more area to explore and more action and adventure in the main storyline and “primary story mission”, the side missions, and the subplots. More city landscape also means more room for villians and bad guys and more fun with the improved Freeflow combat system. Sonic Batarangs, Batclaw, Explosive Gel, and Batman’s line launcher capabilities are among the great aspects of this game.

This is certainly one of the hotter games this season. Batman Arkham City is getting some pretty strong reviews on a lot of different game sites as well.
