Binocular Harness Strap

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Let me tell you a funny story about a binocular harness strap. I didn't have one for the longest time because I didn't know what they were. My neck hurt for days every time I would go out with my binos. Isn't that hilarious?

Ok, so it's not really funny at all. I concur. So why did I bring it up? I did it to get the word out, I guess. I mean, think about it. How many other guys like me are out there with their optics around their necks? They are just hanging there, like dead weight, right on the neck. Why don't they have a binocular harness strap? Are they too good for one? I highly doubt it. Instead, I think they are just like I was; someone who didn't know what a binocular harness strap system even was.

Well let me tell you and then you'll know. (Interesting how that works, isn't it?) A binocular harness strap is an ingenious little invention that will literally solve your pain in the neck. Literally. Ok, so what I am saying is that a binocular harness strap, because of how it works, will help you to no longer have a sore neck because of carrying around your optics.

You see, a binocular harness strap is a strap that goes around your back, over your shoulder and under your arm that carries your optics right on your chest. This evenly distributes the weight over your shoulders, chest and back. It's comfortable and incredibly convenient.

Why is a binocular harness strap convenient? Well, aside from carrying the optics for you so you don't have to, it keeps them right at your finger tips so you can easily lift them right up to eye level without even detaching them from your binocular harness strap! Genius? I think so.

Something else that so very few of us even think to consider is the safety factor of a binocular harness strap. How many times have you dropped, hit or injured your optics in any way? Be it a camera or a set of binos, the probability of banging it up while you're out and about in nature is relatively high.

If you're out birding or hunting, you need to move around. Sure, you probably find yourself a cozy spot to sit and wait, but getting there and back requires some maneuvering. Correct? A binocular harness strap will ensure you do not drop or bang around your optics. Truly, a binocular harness strap is an investment worthwhile.
