Full Review

Ever since George Foreman rolled out his specialty portable grill some years ago there has been many copy cats that have entered the market. While the George Foreman grill changed the way people cooked certain meals across the country, there were limitations as to what the new and innovative grill could do.

This is where the Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker came into play; you can not only cook a healthier steak or hamburger on this variation but also replace your old waffle iron with this compact and high quality table top grill.

The biggest difference between the Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker and other cheaper spin offs made, is the quality and design implemented. The Black & Decker variation is a tad more expensive but you will quickly see what the quality differences are between the cheaper models available on the market today.

The Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker can easily convert into a flat top cooking griddle machine with over 900 watts of power, giving you plenty of space to make what you need in less time. The waffle plate attachments will allow you to make a wide variety of waffle blends that will gain you praises from your family. I personally love making blueberry waffles for the family on Saturday mornings with this versatile device and cleaning it is easier than I expected due to the removable cooking plates included.

Cooking meats such as steak and hamburger are an easy task as well. The Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker actually cooks meat in a healthier fashion much like the George Foreman grill does by draining the fats out of the meat.

Making toasted sandwiches such as grilled cheese can be achieved pretty quickly and more uniformly than using the stove and pan method in my experience. The only issue I have with the Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker is the heat that is radiated from the chrome exterior of the device. I would strongly advise that you keep small children from being able to go near the grill as it can get hot to the touch when operating.

In Closing

Other than the heat issue, I am completely satisfied with the product. It can replace a lot of different counter top cooking devices which can save you space as well as money. The Black & Decker G48TD Grill and Waffle Baker also comes backed with a one year warranty so you know you are getting a quality product.
