You only need to spend a short time with the Blendtec TB-631-20 The Professional's Choice 1560-Watt Total Blender to realize that this is the machine for you.  Particularly for the experienced gourmet, this blender takes the place of several small appliances since it can successfully knead bread, blend fruit into juice, grind up ice to create smoothies or iced coffees and do several other tasks just as well (just not at the same time).  Besides the 1560 watt motor and double prong stainless steel blade, the Blendtec’s efficiency is due to the six pre-programmed blending cycles available on the digital control panel.

What Makes the Blendtec TB-631-20 The Professional's Choice 1560-Watt Total Blender a Quality Small Appliance?

One appliance, many purposes: Are you tired of cluttering up your counters or your kitchen cupboards with several appliances?  How about pulling out and putting back those machines for just a single use?The Blendtec 1560-Watt Total Blenderreplaces up to nine of your kitchen appliances since it can make everything from bread dough to slushy drinks of all kinds.  It sounds a little strange but this machine has an ice crushing promise—a guarantee that it will blend ice thoroughly every time.  No wonder the Blendtec is a professional’s blender of choice!

Durability: The Blendtec 1560-Watt Total Blendercan handle long term every day use.  This is the blender to be in a committed relationship with.  Some blenders can only be used occasionally and you can’t run the motor for too long for fear the motor will burn out.  The Blendtec’s 1560 watt motor of commercial quality and two prong stainless steel blades deliver plenty of power.

High Tech: The folks at Blendtec are big on technology.  As a result, this blender is technologically advanced with a trademarked Smart-Touch Technology that takes the mystery out of blending and food processing.  You don’t have to push a button and then wait to check if the ingredients are finished blending.  The pre-programmed cycles start slow and speed up to draw the ingredients toward the stainless steel blades. And here’s the coolest part: once the cycle is complete (and the ingredients are thoroughly blended or processed), the blender shuts off without you having to touch it.

Digital Control Panel: Blendtec Professional’s Choice Blender is easy to use yet very powerful.  To this regard, the digital control panel is a great asset since it shows information on your current blend’s status and offers cycle functions like “ice cream, frozen yogurt”, “ice crush, milkshake”, “soups, syrups, fondues”, “sauces, dips, dressings, batters”, “whole juice” and “smoothie”  Plus there’s a pulse option that is adjustable.

Efficiency:  It feels silly here to even mention that this blender is efficient.  But it is.  With 1560 watts of power, the blades can spin up to 29,000 rpms.  You only need to push one button on the digital control panel to get the results you’re after.  Plus don’t forget Blendtec’s ice-crushing guarantee.  All you do is add ingredients, push one button then move on to your next task.

Any Problems with theBlendtec TB-631-20 The Professional's Choice 1560-Watt Total Blender?

Noise: Most powerful blenders are noisy.  So is the Blendtec Professional’s Choice Blender.  It does have a tendency to work loudly and can vibrate quite a bit as well.  It only takes the Blendtec a few seconds to do its job so usually the loudness isn’t bothersome for most people.  However you may want to be careful about the time of day that you use it if the noise is disruptive for your family or neighbors. Plus you’ll want to make sure you’re nearby when using the machine so it doesn’t vibrate off the counter while its blending.

The Lid: The Blendtec’s lid is square to fit the square pitcher.  Keep in mind though the lid attaches to the pitcher very tightly and the force of the machine will more often than not spray the contents all over the underside of the lid which means it needs to be cleaned every time and you may have to clean drips from the lid as well when pouring out the contents in the blender.  In particular, it might get challenging if you have to take the lid off to add ingredients as you go.  To minimize mess, try to add all ingredients to the pitcher at once.

Is the Blendtec TB-631-20 The Professional's Choice 1560-Watt Total Blender Worth Buying?

With the three year warranty backed by a reputable company, the Blendtec TB-631-20 is worth the cost.  Although it is an investment, it is one you will definitely get your money’s worth from as it can replace a few kitchen appliances and/or keep you from buying some.  It is the blender that professionals use so you know it is a quality product that will bring you years of service.  This blender has over forty customer reviews on Amazon averaging 4.5 stars. Eighty percent of those reviews are five stars.  Clearly the Blendtec TB-631-20 The Professional's Choice 1560-Watt Total Blender owners are more than satisfied with their purchase.

With all of its features, the digital control panel, 1560 watt motor and six programmed settings, the blender can create no brainer goodness for you on a regular basis.  Don’t forget my favorite feature which is the Smart-Touch technology that allows you to add ingredients, press a button and be done with it since the blender shuts off when it’s done.  With the Blendtec TB-631-20 The Professional's Choice 1560-Watt Total Blender, you can use a blender the professional chefs use.
