Blusher Tips

By | Feb 1, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

If you are looking to brighten up your smile with make up, the best way to do this is by applying blusher to your cheeks. What you need to do first though, is fully smile in the mirror then brush the blusher into the apples of your cheeks to get a cheeky smile that is going to glow with health and vitality.

A good way to ensure that you don't apply too much blusher to your cheeks, is to first load up the brush with blusher then blow or tap off the excess blusher. This will result in just enough blusher on the brush to give you perfect cheek coverage, without you over loading it. Which is going to result in you looking like a painted doll.

Have you got blushers in your make up box that are over two years old. If you have its highly likely that these blushers are out of date. You can usually tell this by looking underneath the blusher or by the texture of the blusher. If it is slippery or its dry you should throw it away and you should buy yourself some new blusher. It may be the case that the blusher is still in date but its texture is still slippery or dry. This is caused by the mixture of your natural skin oils when you are constantly using and handling the product.

If you are looking to bring out your cheekbones and make it look natural. The best way to do it, is by using a blusher which is medium beige in color. This will help to make the bones stick out, one thing you must avoid though is using blusher which is darker otherwise you might end up with a stripy look to your cheeks. Another good tip to make your face look natural is to never paint your face with blusher right up to the hairline, you only need to go up to the curves of your cheekbones.
