Many of you may have already gone fishing but Bodegay Bay takes it a whole new level. Here, big fish is actually caught like Salmon, Halibut, Rock Cod, and Ling Cod. You can try The Boat House - New Sea Angler & Jaws Sportfishing, Hagemann Ranch Trout Farm, Porto Bodega Marina, and Fish On Bait, Tackle and Charters.

The RV Kind of Life

If you live the RV life, you will find Bodega Bay as the perfect campsite for you. You can try the Bodega Bay RV Park and Port O Bodega RV Park. Both are privately owned and you must call to make reservations. You can also try the Doran Regional Park, Westside Regional Park, Stillwater Cove Regional Park, and Gualala Point Regional Park. Most of those are on a first come first served basis. Each are equipped with Boat ramp, fish cleaning station, boat rinsing station, shore fishing and family picnic areas.


Lodging in any of the Bodega Bay’s Inns, Hotels or Lodges is already an experience in itself. The Dawn Ranch Lodge, for example, has redwoods, open meadows, a private beach and a landmark pool. You can stay in the lodge for days on end and it already gives you the ultimate experience. The River's End Restaurant & Inn rests on a cliff with the view of the Pacific Ocean and the Russian River. If you are in to experience the nostalgia of a hotel more than 140 years old, try the Valley Ford Hotel. It was built in 1864 but the quality of its service and equipment remains modern.
