Breast Enlargements Can Be Created With Different Types of Breast Implants

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Breast enlargements are very popular these days because they are now very affordable. Cosmetic surgeons can offer you a great price to give you the breast lift that you are looking for. If you are considering this option as a way to improve your physical appearance, you should look into what type of breast implants are available to you and would best suit your requirements.

There are two types of breast implants available and the one that you choose will depend on the reason you are getting breast enlargements in the first place. The choice is between natural tissue implant and synthetic breast implants.

Natural Tissue Implants

This is usually the choice for women who are undergoing reconstructive surgery. They may have lost one or both breasts due to cancer. The surgeon will use skin, fat and muscle collected from other parts of the body, usually the buttocks and thigh area, in order to create a new breast in the chest cavity. As the materials for the breast reconstruction has to be collected from your own body, the whole procedure can be quite painful.

Synthetic Breast Implants

This is the usual choice of implant for cosmetic surgery. They are man made moulds which can consist of silicone based materials. There are a plethora of companies that manufacture implants but your doctor will most probably ask you to choose between a silicone implant or a saline implant for your breast augmentation.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The silicone ones will be firmer to the touch and give you a real upstanding look. This is the look favoured by many of the models featured in the so called "lads mags" like FHM, Loaded, as well as the very popular Playboy magazine. The breasts on these women all look very pert and can almost sit high and proud without the need of a bra for support.

The saline implant is a liquid based product. It is much softer to the touch as it is a fluid. It is made from a salt and water and solution and can be purchased either at the size that you have requested or an empty sack can be inserted into the breast pocket where it is then injected with the saline solution by your doctor during surgery.

Whatever you go for, be certain that you know everything you need to about the process of breast augmentation. Make sure that you are happy with all aspects of your cosmetic consultation so that you are fully aware of all of your options.
