Breville 800JEXL juicer review

By Edited Mar 24, 2016 0 0

Before I start this Breville 800JEXL juicer review I want to talk a little bit about my own juicing philosophy. To begin with I want to make it clear that I am an advocate of drinking homemade fruit and vegetable juice on a daily basis. When I attended a Neuro-Linguistic Programming course the instructor lead us through a thought experiment. It works with juicing too. It allows you to imagine just how good a freshly made orange juice tastes. All you have to do is picture a bowl of oranges, see what it looks like. Then pick one up and feel what it feels like. Next take a knife and cut it in half and see a small droplet of of juice squirt out and smell what it smells like. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Imagine how good the real thing

is! Now to get on with this Breville 800JEXL juicer review.

The Breville 800JEXL juicer is a premium centrifugal juicer manufactured by the Italian company Breville. Looking at the picutre you can see its stylish steel design. This machine would look great in anyone's kitchen. It is a high powered machine. The 1,000 watt motor can operate at two settings, 13,000 RPM or a reduced 6500 PRM for softer produce. It comes with a collection pitcher that is just the right size to collect the juice from the output chute. On top of this, all the parts are dishwasher safe which is great for anyone who is too lazy to clean it by hand.

What are centrifugal juicers good for?

I use a centrifugal juicer myself and am very happy with this style of appliance. Their primary benefits are that they are the fastest types of juicers on the market today; they are safe; and cleaning then is easy because they have just a few parts. Centrifugal juicers like the Breville 800JEXL can juice any sorts of fruit and vegetables that you want to use. They are particularly effective at juicing harder produce like carrots, apples and so on. While they can also deal with leafy vegetables like spinach that is not their strength. So for people looking for a machine that will get the most out of that type of ingredient then a slower masticating juicer may be more appropriate. For me however, it is the ease of use and speed of clean up that really makes machines like the Breville 800JEXL so attractive.
