The Best Points About The Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus

Breville Juicer 3

Why buy a Juicer?

Juicer's only have one job; turn fruit and vegetables into liquid. But they give valuable services.

People buy juicer's to help them be healthier. They help you eat things you wouldn’t otherwise eat, and in larger quantities. With the juicer you can easily go through one celery per week, a pack of carrots, and even some ginger.

They also make things we wouldn’t eat taste a lot better, and they can turn a lot of food into something that we can sip on while doing another task, which is quite convenient.

The Breville Juice Fountain Plus

With this in mind late last year I bought a juicer, the Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus 850-Watt Juice Extractor. It is a great little juicer. If you are thinking of buying a juicer and being healthier, here are the reasons why I bought this one.

The extra wide feed hole

The feed hole being bigger isn’t just about putting larger fruit in the juicer, it's about not doing as much preparation which saves time. There is always preparing food when juicing, from removing peels, shells to slicing fruit, but the larger feed hole allows you to juice more fruit and vegetables at the same time.

Easy to clean

Cleaning anything is a pain, and although there are 7 different parts that need cleaning straight after you use the juice fountain plus, they only need a rinse if washed in the sink. The parts are all dishwasher safe too, which saves time. The stainless steel filter comes with a  brush to help you clean the mesh, which is the only tricky thing to clean on the juicer.

Simple to use

After you plug the juicer in, there is only one switch, and two speeds. The slow speed used for soft fruits like oranges and watermelon, and a fast speed for hard vegetables like carrot and celery. It’s also simple to clean and easy to assemble and dis assemble.

The motor

The motor in this model is 850-watts, which means it has no problem juicing fruit and vegetables. Some juicer's in this price range have trouble with leafy greens, or trouble with a lot of fruit, but not this one. The motor is the reason the Breville JE98XL Juice Fountain Plus can have a larger feed hole because the motor can cope with it. The motor also makes it easy to juice, so there’s no forcing food down the chute .

Quality

The juicer is stable; it will stay on the kitchen bench and not move around when it’s running or send juice all over the walls. The juice fountain plus also produces a lot of juice out of the fruit and vegetables that you use, other juicer's around this price range have greater wastage.

Speed

The Breville is a centrifugal juicer, this means that the juice fountain plus juices the fruit when you put it in the feed slot. The more expensive masticating juicer's can take 20 minutes to squeeze the fruit to make juice which means what you drink is not as fresh.

Size

You can make 1 litre of juice at a time, which you can drink while doing other things. Other juicer's it is hard to make this much juice because they aren’t able to handle the loads or juicing takes too long.

The price.

This juicer is very reasonably priced at around $150. Some juicer's sell for over $400, which puts them out of range for most first time juicer buyers.

Users on Amazon.com also love the Breville. It has a lot of 5 star reviews, and barely any 0,1,2 and 3 star reviews.

I also recommend this juicer to anyone who wants to start juicing, it works straight out of the box, is easy to use and powerful enough to juice any fruit and vegetables. It also as a limited 1 year warranty, and has
