Brill Luxus 38 Reel Mower/Razorcut 38 Reel Mower

The Brill Luxus 38 Reel Mower is now a discontinued product but is still available used. It is a top of the line reel style mower. Replaced by the Brill Razorcut 38 reel mower virtually identical they have five flame hardened blades that make a 15 1/2" wide cut ranging grass from .7" to 1.8" tall with an easy height adjustment. Weighing only 17lbs making this one of the lightest mowers you can buy. The Brill Luxus 38 reel mower has a silent cut design meaning the blades never touch the cutter bar. The blade and the cutter bar slide past one another at less than one millimeter shearing the grass like a pair of scissors. Other than helping to keep the blade sharper much longer do to no metal on metal the shearing action is better for your grass than a rotary blade mower that just tears the grass. As mentioned before the Brill Luxus 38 Reel Mower is no longer available new but can be found online used, however, the Brill Razorcut 38 Reel Mower can be purchased through a number of online retailers including Amazon.com.

Brill Evolution electric push mowers

Brill has a long line of other push mowers that are helping lead the way to the future of mowing. With their line of electric powered push mowers the Brill Evolution series is the next generation of mower. Possibly the best thing about the Brill Evolution is its space saving design that allows it to be stored in an upright position not only does this save space it also gives easy access to the bottom of the mower allowing it to be cleaned with ease. There are a few of the bigger Brill Evolution mowers that are gas powered but have the same features as the electric version. Finding one of these in the States may be a little difficult but anything is possible online.

Gas powered Brill lawn mowers

Brill Lawn Mower Company also has gas powered push mowers available in the same sizes as the Brill Evolution and larger up to 20" (51mm). The Brill Brillencio push mowers are quieter and with their plastic housing are lighter than your everyday mower. The Brill Steelline push mowers have a steel housing and are the most heavy duty push mower that Brill makes. Some of the features include an electric start that charges the battery when mowing, one speed wheel drive, and a mulch kit.

Brill Crossover lawn tractor

Brill also has a lawn tractor series called the Brill Crossover 74/13 is the smallest and the Crossover 102/20 would be the largest and equipped with Briggs & Stratton or Honda engines.
