Bronchitis treatment can sometimes require antibiotics for bronchitis if it comes severe. Bronchitis comes from common colds, flues, or allergies. Bronchitis symptoms come from chest pain when you cough. Bronchitis can lead to vomiting, nausea, dizziness, stuffy nose, and fatigue. Chronic bronchitis can be caused from smoking.

I've been living with a member in my home, who has had bronchitis for the last week. In a germ infested house, I've not caught so much as a cough. I'll will explain ways to prevent yourself from getting sick, along with getting bronchitis treatment. If you're suffering from bronchitis symptoms, take time off work or school. You should avoid smoking and drinking alcohol. Smoking will lead to increased conditions of bronchitis.

If you've not gotten a pneumonia shot, you should consider so to prevent yourself from getting contagious diseases. You should also practice proper hygiene. Meaning wash your hands after you've used the bathroom, before you deal with food, or after you've touched public objects. Don't share drinks or eating utensils with others.

A good diet is one way I've help prevent myself from getting sick. Foods high in antioxidants fight off free radical attacks in your body. If you're suffering from bronchitis, maybe some fruits like grapes, blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries would be good to eat. They're not too sweet, and they're very rich in antioxidants. They'll be easy on your digestive system as well.

You won't want to eat a lot of solid foods when you're sick. Grandma's chicken noodle soup is one of the most effective home remedies for bronchitis, and any illness. It's easy on the lungs, and not hard to digest. In general, you'll want to get a lot of liquids into your body. You don't want to become hydrated. Don't drink pop, beer, or drinks high in caffeine. Drink a lot of waters whenever you have an illness, or suck on ice chips if you've developed a fever.

Taking omega-3 fish oils can help with an illness. Omega-3 fatty acids can help get rid of bacterial diseases in your body. Omega-3 protect the immune system. Since you probably won't want to eat actual fish when sick, take omega-3 fish oil supplements. Nature Made's products doesn't provide the fish after taste, so they're completely tasteless.

Essential oils used to treat bronchitis. There's a lot of essential oils you can use for bronchitis treatment. Essential oils are used in aromatherapy. Tea tree oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil, lavender, and oregano oil are some of the oils I'd recommend using. Essential oils kill bacteria and viruses in the body. Don't ingest these oils, they should be used as a vaporizer.

Lastly, and most importantly, you should drink hot tea. Best teas to use are chamomile tea, or green tea. Both teas are anti-bacterial, and will help get rid of bronchitis. Also, if you can add cinnamon and honey to either tea, that would be helpful too. Honey kills 99.9 percent of e.coli bacteria.

Get yourself proper rest, be comfortable. Acute bronchitis can last up to a few days. Then serious symptoms will start to reduce. Although a possibly cough, and a stuffy nose can last up to a week. Rest is needed, then you should be back to normal in no time.
