Great Post! I'm trying to gather as much info as I can before I get chickens, I first got the idea over at Homesteadearth.com. After their discussion on chickens and "hoop Houses" i stated getting pumped and basically doing what you were saying, Drawing it out and then moved to an Auto Cad drawing! Wish me luck hope it turns out well!
We had chickens when I was in high school, but we lived on the fringes of town where it was legal. But I have "discovered" a loop hole in the city I live in that allows people to have a couple of hens (no roosters, haha!) per household. I'm thinking of buying a few. If I do, I'll take the advice you put together here. Thanks !
