Buying Portable Hot Tubs
If you would like to buy yourself a new hot tub then it can be difficult to know where to start. One thing that we are all aware of is how much they can cost and this can be a real strain on the budget of the household. There are other options that are cheaper though and one of them is the portable hot tub. While it might be cheaper which is obviously a big bonus, there are some significant down sides too which you need to be aware of before you buy.
First of portable hot tubs are usually inflatable. This means that they can be moved around from place to place and also means that they don't have to be installed anywhere which saves money. While they are definitely a lot cheaper than buying a regular hot tub that doesn't mean they are inexpensive. Most portable tubs will cost you in excess of $1000 so they are still a big purchase.
Even so, they can provide a lot of fun for the family so you shouldn't just discount the portable hot tub as an option for your household. If you can only afford a portable one then they are definitely better than no hot tub at all, but if you think you could save up for a bit longer and get a better tub then that is probably the best option.
Another issue with the portable hot tub spa is that they are often not very good at keeping in the heat. This can mean that if you are going to be using your hot tub for long periods of time such as at a party then you are going to need to keep reheating the tub. However this varies depending on which type of hot tub you get and also which manufacturer made it, so you need to check with them to see how long on average the water can hold enough heat to be comfortable.
Think carefully when you are buying a large ticket item such as a hot tub because y0ou need to make sure you get the purchase right the first time around. Have a look on the internet to see which ones are available and then have a look at the reviews of people who bought them. What are the positives? Are there any major flaws in the product? Is it worth the cost? All these questions will help you to make a final decision.
