Starting a new career can be scary, especially if you are having to pay money for education.  I want to help ease your mind with this list of CNA Schools in Los Angeles.

All of these schools are state approved, so once you are finished with the course you will be eligible to take the state exam and become a certified nurses aid.

American Red Cross-Greater Long Beach Area

I don't think I can say it enough, I love the CNA programs at American Red Cross.  They are always very detailed, the instructors are amazingly knowledgable and the prices are unbeatable.  At this location the course runs for 22 days and the theory/lab work goes from 7:30-4:30 and the clinical study is from 7-3:30.  Most CNA programs at american red cross fill up fast so I would register asap. Their phone number is (800) 627-7000 and the classes are held at 3150 E 29th St.

New Regal Health Career Training Center

This would definitely be my second pick for a CNA school in Los Angeles.  The classes run for 10 weeks M-Th 4pm-8pm or on the weekend 8am-2pm.  Their course is very well designed and they guarantee 100% pass rate and job placement after completion.  You can call them at (323) 259-0438 and they are located at 1578 West Colorado Blvd Suite 10 in Los Angeles CA.

Career Colleges of America-Los Angeles branch

This is probably my least favorite on this list.  The cost is fairly high for a CNA program and there are a few bad reviews on the school in general.  However, they are state-approved and they do seem to have a pretty decent pass rate so I decided to keep them on here and let you make a decision yourself.  The phone number is 1-800-4-training and they are located at 1801 S La Cienega Blvd. STE 301.

CIT Nursing College

This is an average program at a private institute.  The cost is average and it is 160 hours.  They break the course up into three sections each focusing on different areas of nurse assisting.  Once you have finished the classes you will be given a certificate of completion and be eligible to take the State exam.
