Do you know of a state where the people enjoy events for almost the entire year along with good weather? Yes it is California. Annual California Events are renowned and include cultural and sporting affairs. Among those events there are certain special events which celebrate Halloween, Easter and Christmas holidays. Almost the entire area is enticed with wine and food festivals mostly.
The remarkable event is that the calendar is entirely filled for all the 365 days in a year and one of the treats conducted in the initial period (during the month of January) is the Roses Parade tournament which is been held in Pasadena. This event includes marching bands, flora flotilla and horse displays. The eagerly awaited Rose Bowl game played after these wonderful events is a much anticipated college football match.
During the spring season the Santa Barbara Fur Ball event takes place. This party is conducted exclusively for all animal lovers and not for those wearing expensive fur coats. Here a silent auction is conducted along with a formal wear dinner dance. The funds raised are utilized to provide shelter for homeless animals which also includes the diseased and abandoned animals. The most famous California events conducted for the kids include the Hat Contest and Easter Bonnet Parade held in San Diego. Here kids of any age are allowed to participate in the contest and they can even take part in the Easter Egg Hunt contest.
In the month of May, the Elks Rodeo and Parading events are celebrated at Santa Maria. Audiences have an opportunity to see real cowboys performing various struts which include bull riding, calf roping, bareback riding and finally wild horse competitions. San Francisco is a place well known for its Independence Day celebration events and the Waterfront Festival held at the Fisherman's Wharf every 4th of July. Spectators can enjoy 24 hours a day with crafts, fireworks, arts and delicious food festival.
At Vacaville, the Jazz festival is exclusively conducted for the Jazz fans every September. Especially during Halloween a number of California events are held in Calabasas of which the Halloween Carnival is quite famous. Numerous events for children are conducted which includes theatre productions and game shows of a wide variety.
During Christmas Eve, the December Lighted Boat Christmas parade is held which starts right from the Marina and the parade ends up at the river and back. Also the New Year Eve's celebration as per Brazilian style is quite notorious. This is one of the most luxurious events conducted on the stylish Queen Mary Ship harbor. Also those riding on this elegant ship can party all the night and welcome the New Year amidst colorful fireworks at midnight. But throughout the whole region these are only a few California events. These events not only help to keep the tourists and residents entertained but also aid to sustain the cultural traditions. They aid a lot in improving the local economy as well.
