Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Impressions

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is coming out in a matter of days, and there have been many videos and impressions have been popping up all over the internet. Was only a matter of time until an article was written that would give you a real indepth opinion of what the campaign mode has to offer.

How many of you have actually managed to play the original Call of Duty 4 campaign? For those of you who do actually remember it, it had a pretty well written story line. The progression allowed you to build a great connection between you and the players. It was not that amazingly epic to be honest, though it was engaging and enjoyable. The campaign did allow for some exciting moments, but it did not leave an overall deep impression on much of the game community. Infinity Ward really out did itself with the story mode and character progression of the next game.

Modern Warfare 2 manages to really step up the level of story telling, and sets the standard for further Call of Duty games to come. In this epic story, you will most likely find it to be much more entertaining than that of the previous one. The ending of the last game was fairly interesting, it is old, so I do not mind spoiling it. But you basically kill off the main enemy during the game, while in last stand mode, meaning you were dying. The ending to Modern Warfare 2, I will warn you now, is pretty similar but the events leading up to it is much more exciting. During this game, you will be cheering on your team mates, and feeling their pain during some of the tense moments. The Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 campaign ending is really something that you should look forward to playing. The story is presented in a way for it to seem as if you are watching a movie, which makes it that much more appealing to play.

Infinity Ward has really made an effort with the single player mode this time around, they are pretty much dominating in every playable mode of the game. The multiplayer mode is going to excel as well, with the improved perk system, leveling system, third person mode playlist, and much more. I am predicting that Modern Warfare 2 will be the most played Xbox Live title within a week, and will steal the title of Game of The Year when the nominations go out.
