Candida Cleansing For Yeast Infections

By | Feb 18, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0
Among women, candida infections are the fourth most common infection worldwide. Commonly known as yeast infections, candida infections exist when we harbor excessive amounts of yeast in our bodies. Candida cleansing is an effective way to flush yeast out of our bodies and encourage the growth of good micro-organisms.

Symptoms that may prompt you to try a candida cleanse include: fatigue, frequent skin issues, white coating on the tongue, sugar and chocolate cravings and brain fog. Diet is the most effective way to flush our systems of candida.

Before starting a candida cleanse diet, however, it is helpful to begin the cleansing process by first doing a colon cleanse. This will allow us to effectively flush accumulated wastes and toxins from our bodies. In the process, we will be cleansing our organs and digestive tracts. Our systems will more effectively be able to flush out candida once the colon cleanse is performed.

A colon cleanse can be either a packaged product that you purchase from a health food store or you can use a master cleanse recipe that you prepare in your home.

When you are ready to begin the candida cleanse, starve out the candida by avoiding the foods list below as they promote candida growth. Some of these foods can be reintroduced at the completion of the cleanse, but others should be avoided permanantly especially if you are prone to frequent yeast infections.

  • mushrooms and fungus - these can be consumed in moderation once the cleanse is complete
  • all types of vinegar - these too can and should be reintroduced at the conclusion of the cleanse
  • processed meats like sausage, pastrami, lunch meats, corned beef, hot dogs, bacon and ham - these should be avoided during the cleanse and eliminated for good as they contain high levels of nitrates
  • processed white flour and all sugar (even fruit) - after the cleanse, reintroduce fruits but continue to avoid white flour and refined sugars
  • peanuts and products containing peanuts
  • alcoholic beverages
Consume only raw vegetables, organic eggs, sauerkraut, whole grains and unsweetened kefir. Also, drink a half of a cup of freshly squeezed organic lemon juice two times each day.

To your regime, add some probiotics to aid digestion. A common probiotic is lactobacillus acidophilus, which is found in yogurt. However, finding a yogurt that does not contain fruit or sugar can be difficult. Probiotic supplements are commonly available in health food stores and can be used as an alternative to eating yogurt.

When you have completed the colon cleanse and candida cleanses, you will have accomplished quite a bit. You will have gotten rid of the pesky candida and cleansed your colon in the process.

By eliminating the offending foods listed above permanently, you will effectively rid yourself of candida once and for all.

You will probably find that your energy level has increased and the symptoms you were once plagued with have disappeared.

It is always a good idea to consult with a qualified health professional before starting any candida cleansing protocol.
