Canker Sore Home Remedy
Homer remedy for a canker sore
At home remedy to get rid of canker sores
There is hope for an easy canker sore home remedy. Actually their are a few ways to get rid of those pesky canker sores with household item. Growing up I was always biting my lip (apparently I was a little awkward) so I constantly had sores throughout my mouth. As an adult I am now taking my training and techniques learned from my mother (which was learned by her mother) to help take care of the masses.
This is the best way to get rid of ONE sore big or small:
1) Wash your hands thoroughly. Get your pointer finger a little moist and stick it in some baking soda (so that the baking soda will stick on your finger)
2) Place the baking soda that is on your finger directly on the sore. Slide your finger back leaving the baking soda on the sore.
3) Don't panic! it will sting a little. Let it stay on the canker for about five minutes before rinsing it out.
For multiple canker sores and back of the throat sores:
1) Fill a cup with 1/2 cup of warm water
2) Add one tablespoon of salt and one tablespoon of baking soda (optional: crush one asprin and mix it in for pain relief)
3) Mix the ingredients until they are disolved into a clear solution.
4) Gargle with mixture for 30 seconds and spit out into sink
5) Repeat 3-5 times. It is going to taste awful so when your done feel free to rinse.
Never touch you mouth or play with your sore unless your hands are completely sanitized or wearing a rubber glove even. The bacteria will make the problem worse.
The purpose for both of these is to sanitize the sore and neutralize the ph level of the infected area. You should see a large improvement by the next day, but I suggest continuing the treatment for 2-3 more days or until the sore goes away. The pain should subside after rinsing and after 1-2 you will be almost healed if not completely.
