What You Should Watch Out For When Dealing With Cash Call Emergency Loans

1) The High APR Interest Rates: As of January 2012, if you take out a 2600 personal unsecured loan with Cash Call you will have to pay back approximately $13, 830.  At 139 percent APR after 47 payments, that's ridiculous! Borrow $10, 000 and you are looking at approximately $62, 453 at 89 percent APR and after 84 payments.  Do I need to go any higher? Ok, Borrow $25,000 and you will pay back approximately $92,000 with a much lower APR of 36 percent but still much higher than industry standards. 

2) Cash Call Inc., has received thousands of complaints from angry customers who said they were mislead by the company.  All these complaints and consumer violations against Cash Call lead to the California Attorney General filing a lawsuit against them on behalf of the consumers. They agreed to a $1 Million dollar settlement paid back to the consumers for using deceptive ads and "loan shark" tactics.
