Cashmere Socks

I recently purchased a pair of cashmere socks and I am loving them. Usually, in the winter, my feet get really cold. When I am walking outside in the snow and wearing my boots, there are lots of times when my feet feel like they have no protection at all. Sometimes, I find myself putting on two pairs of socks. The problem with putting on an additional pair of socks is that my shoes don't fit. I have to squeeze my feet into the boots and the whole time, I am feeling uncomfortable. The shoes don't look as good either since my feet are bulging through.

So, the other day, while shopping online, I came across a pair of cashmere socks. I was looking for a cashmere cardigan, but right next to it was a pair of socks. I thought about it and decided to splurge. They were a bit more expensive than any pair of socks I'd ever purchased and cost me $20 for one pair. Normally, regular socks are about $2-$4 a pair so I really had to think hard before purchasing these socks. However, it said that they were 100% pure cashmere so I decided to buy them and try them out.

When they came in the mail, I took them out and felt how luxurious they were. They were so soft and comfortable feeling. I put them on my feet and they felt wonderful. The biggest test for me was whether or not my feet would feel cold outside. So, I put on my boots and started walking around the neighborhood. Normally, after 10 minutes, I can start to feel the cold creep up on my feet. My feet start to feel so cold that I can no longer walk around. However, this time around, nothing like that happened. Instead, my feet continued to feel warm even after 1 hour of walking around. I walked all the way to the supermarket, got my groceries, and walked back, and still my feet felt warm and toasty. The difference was the socks. They kept my feet really warm and I didn't have to put on an extra pair of socks either. I wasn't uncomfortable since I was only wearing one layer of socks.

I am now a believer of buying cashmere socks. I think everyone should try at least one pair. Especially for times when they know they will be outside for a long time. The cashmere socks will keep your feet warm so you won't notice how cold it is.
