Champion Juicer Review: Masticating Juicer

By Edited Apr 27, 2016 0 0

The importance of consuming plenty of quality nutrition on a daily basis cannot be stressed enough. In this Champion juicer review I want to present the reasons why using an appliance such as this can have a real positive impact on your health and well being.

Of course there are loads of different styles of juicers that you can use. This particular model falls into the masticating juicer category. The other types that you can choose from include centrifugal juicers, twin gear juicers, citrus juicers, wheat grass juicers and hand powered juicers. There really are many different types to choose from depending upon your specific juicing requirements.

When you read this Champion juicer review you will see that I do not recommend this appliance for everyone. It depends on two factors in my opinion. Firstly, on what type of drinks you want to make. And secondly on your previous juicing experience. We shall look at both of these in turn.

To begin with, think about your favorite fruit and vegetables. What are they? Do you think they would make a good drink? Maybe you already know. Personally I love carrot, orange and ginger juice. Now, if this was all I drank, then the Champion juicer pictured here would not be the best choice juicing appliance. The reason for this is that while it can juice all these ingredients perfectly, there is a cost involved. That is the time it takes to chop off all the orange skin. However I also have a centrifugal juicer with a citrus attachment, the Magimix Le Duo. Using this juicer means that all I have to do before I juice the oranges is to cut them in half. Definitely a time saver. However I also like to drink spinach, apple and ginger juice. This works out much better if you use the Champion unit. So it really comes down to the types of juice you want to make as to which style of juicer is best.

Secondly, how much experience do you have making your own fruit and vegetable juices? I started making these drinks about fifteen years ago with a centrifugal juicer. I think this was the best type to start off with. The reason for this is that they are very easy to learn how to use. In addition to this, they can juice practically anything, even if they do not always extract the highest juice yield. Finally, they are the fastest out of all the different juicing appliances so this helps to keep your enthusiasm for juicing high.

For those of you reading this who have been juicing for a few years and are looking to liven up your juicing lifestyle once more, then choosing a machine such as the Champion juicer or one of the Omega masticating juicers may be just the ticket.
