Hosting an outdoor party falls short when the food cannot be cooked outdoors. Friends and family typically, look forward to the delicious smells of foods cooking on a gas-grill. The hosts look forward to not having to heat up their kitchens or staying indoors while their guests enjoy the beautiful weather. Many homeowners and those who lived in joined housing have been cooking inside and then lugging the food outside. This process can really take away from a fun day.
For quite a few homeowners, apartment dwellers and those who reside in condos or co-ops, using a traditional charcoal grill or gas gas-grill is not a viable option. Some homeowners do not like the mess associated with charcoal – too much preparation and cleaning, while other homeowners do not like the inconvenience of having to replace propane tanks, which seem to run out right in the middle of a barbeque. Those who live in apartments, condos or co-ops have to abide by the rules of the management or association and often times are not allowed to use charcoal or gas grills.
Char-Broil meets the needs of those who want to enjoy the benefits and pleasures of outdoor cooking, but cannot or are not able to use a traditional charcoal or gas gas-grill.

If you follow the directions step by step, you won’t have any problems. This grill is definitely not out of the realm of even a novice to assemble. Set aside a little time and be patient when assembling your new grill. I have definitely seen and assembled many other products that were much more difficult.
Heating the Grill
You can cook anything you can fit onto the grilling surface. This grill will heat up to about 600 degrees Fahrenheit in about 20 to 25 minutes. According to the enclosed instructions – do not lift the lid during the heating process. Simple to know why – you will let the heat escape and have to start all over. The grilling surface heats evenly and keeps a nice hot stable temperature . Definitely no issues with heating. A great benefit to an electric grill is by simply unplugging the unit, you know you can sleep peacefully without worrying about whether the coals in the grill are fully extinguished. The second biggest benefit is the ease of use. By far the easiest and most reliable grill I have every used.
I love the colors and how the grill can compliment any outdoor décor. The grill has a sleeker more modern look than many of its competitors. This was a big plus for me. Most grills come in one or two color choices which are either black or stainless steel. I was so happy to be able to have my grill match my patio furniture.
This grill is very easy to clean and maintain. As soon as the grilling surface cools sufficiently, wipe the surface with a soapy sponge followed by two or three swipes with a damp rag to remove the soapy residue. The interior compartment cleans up very nicely and easily using the same method as you use for the grate. If you have some stuck on, tougher to remove foods, use a nylon scrubbing pad to scrub off the residue.
This is a second grill in my house. I bought this grill as a back up to my gas grill and it is quickly becoming my primary grill. I thought this would be a good addition to my outdoor entertaining space because I would use it to cook a few extra burgers, hot dogs or pieces of chicken on if the big grill became too full. This grill absolutely surpassed my expectations. Of course you can’t expect to get the taste of charcoal cooking on an electric surface, but you can’t get that with a gas grill either. If you want the smoky taste, you can get it by using wood chips made for grills.
The bottom line for apartment, condo or co-op dwellers – you won’t find a better grill for the money. You can find some larger electric grills but the starting prices are significantly higher. If you have to use an electric grill or just choose to use one – choosing the Char-Broil Patio Bistro will not leave you disappointed.
Should I or Shouldn’t I
You should! This electric grill allows you to enjoy your outdoor space and guests without sacrifing the food.
