Character That Shines

Most of us humans have strong characteristics that set us apart from each other and we all think that we are the better brand because we are who we are, believe the way we do and who is to say anything else? We feel we have Character That Shines brighter than anyone else and there is nothing left to say. No, not everyone, because some smart people, do not have to flaunt anything or say anything they just act the way one is suppose to act. I know you have been around people who seem to have it all together. Right?

There are some, who love to be the life of the party, any kind of party and if it is not a party just a business meeting, they try to make it a party. They laugh, they talk, they make jokes, and they dominate the scene, even when they aren't the moderator. They make sure that their Character Shines. They enjoy being noticed and love to talk about themselves and their accomplishments. They are a piece of work. Usually a loud piece of work. Not necessairly a bad piece of work but maybe a piece of work that needs some personal development to help them be a little more modest in their actions and how they present themselves.

There are others who are kind of in-between, they are not real aggressive and sometimes they are passive. They wait to be called upon to state their view and it makes them nervous when they know they are in front of a crowd. Sometimes they are not at their best in front of others even though they know their stuff, they are best performing quietly, somewhere in a cubicle or desk. They do not care who's Character Shines in a meeting, just so they are not imposed upon to perform out of their comfort zone. They just like to listen and learn...and there is actually nothing wrong with this but their self confidence may need a little boost and if they were to indulge in working on their personal growth and their strenghts they could, if they chose to, become better at giving out information.

Last but not least, we have those who have it all together, it seems. They have a Character That Shine above everybody else. They produce a calm, quiet demeanour, they think before they speak, they speak with authority, unquestionable clarity and vigilance, you know exactly what is being said, why it is being said and there is no need to have it repeated. They look you in the eye, they are absolutely in control and they do not beg for anyone's attention. Even Mr. life of the party, shuts his mouth... Their position is solid and the person(s) that are listening do not fall asleep.

If we took a poll after this, I wonder where we would stand. It takes work on our personal growth and personal development to improve (if we need to and most of us do, one way or the other) where we need to be to possess a Character That Shines.

Personal growth development and learning family values should lead one on the path to a "Character That Shines"! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Ron for reading. It seems that when we write on certain values and areas in our life which always need watching over, we are tested to see if can apply to ourselves what we have written about....Right?
