Cheap Brochures Can Enrich Your Business
When it comes to promoting your business, you have a ton of options. One that you should carefully consider is printing brochures. You can print brochures cheaply, comparatively speaking, than you can run a 30-second radio or TV commercial or go door-to-door selling your wares. If you're trying to figure out what marketing techniques to choose that will give you the best ROI in a slow economy, give brochure marketing a try. Here are the reasons why:
You're in charge of the investment
What I mean by this is that you can print brochures as cheaply or as expensively as you want (or can afford!). If you can't afford the thickest paper or four-color printing on each side of the brochure, you don't have to do it (these elements do help make your brochure more credible, though). If you're just starting out, printing one- or two-color brochures can be good enough to get your name in people's houses. If you have a large budget, though, you can easily spend it all on upgrades from UV coatings to the thickest papers and vegetable-based inks.
They're portable
People don't have to read brochures by plugging them in (as you would have to do when reading a Web site or other online marketing). Customers can browse through a brochure at their leisure without any pressure from a salesperson. Customers can glance through them anywhere, while standing in line at the bank or in a grocery check-out line, or while they're at home. It doesn't matter, as long as the sun is shining, brochures can be read.
They're versatile
You can send brochures through the mail, but you can also use that same brochure in your store, displayed by your cash register. You can also hand them out on the street or at a trade show. You could even tack them up on bulletin boards around the community, like at the Laundromat or library. Brochures can also be used as a sales closer when doing a sales presentation. With all the different uses you get out of them, it makes them even more cheaper than originally thought.
Mini-catalogs
Brochures can act as mini-catalogs for businesses that don't have the money to print a whole catalog, or if you just don't have that many products yet. With four-color brochure printing and a glossy finish on your paper stock, your brochure can look just as good as any catalog page, and you might even get more sales by showcasing only a few items. People get overwhelmed with too many items, so only presenting a few might actually help move more products into customers' hands.
Brochures can be easy to design with templates, which is another huge plus for those who don't have the money or time to hire a freelance designer. As you can see, brochures have a lot to offer any type of business.
