Cheap Hair Transplant

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

A hair transplant is a surgical procedure that is not to be taken lightly. During a hair transplant treatment, a strip of donor hair is removed from the back of your head and dissected into small bits of tissue. These small bits of tissue are called grafts. Grafts contain 1, 2, 3, or 4 hair follicles that will be able to grow hair once transplanted to a balding area on top of your scalp. The treatment is performed by highly trained and qualified professional staff of the hair transplant clinic you visit. Because it is a labor intensive chore, this treatment is not yet available for pennies on the dollar.

Cheap Hair Transplant

So when you are looking for a cheap hair transplant, keep in mind that everything is relative. When visiting hair transplant clinic prices in your near vicinity and you're asking around for prices, don't expect to get it anywhere for only a few hundred dollars. Let's say that you need to get 1500 grafts in order to cover your balding area. One clinic is willing to do it for $10,000, another is willing to do it for $12,500 and yet another is willing to do it for $15,000. You might visit more than just three to find out if somebody will even go lower than $10,000, but it's safe to assume that $10,000 is a very low price to pay.

But the question is not whether you can find a cheap hair transplant clinic, it is more a question of whether you actually want a cheap hair transplant. Let's say you go to the clinic that offers it for $10,000 and the quality turns out to be cosmetically unacceptable? You'll pay 10 grand for results that you're not even going to be happy with. You would have been off a lot better at the clinic who will do it for $12,500, provided these people would have given you pleasing results. You might even say that $12,500 for good results is cheaper than $10,000 for lousy results.

The most expensive clinic doesn't necessary give you any better results than the cheapest clinic, by the way. It's best just to look around on the Internet and talk to people who have actually had hair transplants themselves. Many forums and other virtual communities will have thousands of people all interested in one and the same topic. You'll easily find at least a handful of people who can tell you where they got their hair transplants and how happy they are with the results. You'd be surprised at how effective the Internet is in outing hair transplant clinics that deliver a lot of botched work for high prices. Just by taking a few minutes time to browse the web, you can save yourself so much hair transplant horror and grief in the long run.

Good luck to you finding the best hair transplant for you individually. Meanwhile, why not check out some pictures of celebrity hair plugs?
