Cheap Home Security Options
When you decide to get surveillance systems for your house the first thing that comes to my mind is the expenses. You can spend a lot of money to get all the cameras pointing in every corner of your house, and to have a room full of monitors and recoding devices but do you really need them?
Before going out to the security service providing stores look online to find out what you really need. There is a lot of different options like outdoor security cameras that only look real but don't really have a camera in them. These so called dummy cameras are cheap and can be used as much as you like but don't go overboard since having twenty cameras on a small yard can make everyone see that they are dummies.
Besides just getting the dummy cameras you should spend a lot of time designing the system to be perfect. With correct camera placement you can make your outdoor security camera system to have as few cameras as possible but at the same time to cover as much ground as possible. Using a blueprint of your premises can be a great help here. You have to find out the view angle of the cameras you are about to purchase to be sure to draw the cameras correclty in the blueprints.
Another cheap home security option is to get a burglar alarm that is connected to every window and door. This way opening any of the previous will trigger the alarm unless an alarm code is typed in to the system.
