Cheap Luxury hotels in downtown Chicago

The best hotels in Chicago can be quite expensive. Chicago is known for their high-priced quality luxury hotels. Finding good priced deals for hotel rooms near Chicago can sometimes be tricky. Especially when you're looking for a decent place to stay at. You want a decent place to sleep, without putting a huge dent in your wallet. Luxury hotels downtown in Chicago can be quite expensive. Maybe you have a business trip, or spending vacation time in Chicago. Expenses when you consider travel, accessories, and food bills can add up pretty quick. When you add in luxury hotel costs, the next thing you realize you're spending potentially thousands of dollars for even a few nights.

However, you're in luck since there are some cheap luxury hotels in downtown Chicago. It might not be like staying at the Ritz Carlton, or the Trump International Hotel & Tower. There are some very cheap, but still rather nice luxury hotels in downtown Chicago. Chicago hotel specials can typically be offered as well. If you're planning on taking a trip to Chicago anytime, compare each hotel with price range. Be sure to read the reviews, along with commodities each luxury hotel offers. Some cheap luxury hotels might come with similar perks as the more expensive luxury hotels in down town Chicago. Hotel rates change as well.


Cheap Luxury hotels downtown in Chicago


Ambassador East Hotel

Located near the Sutton Place Hotel Chicago, the Ambassador is one of the finer luxury hotels in downtown Chicago. Children under the age of 17 get a free stay. For an extra adult the rate goes 20 a night. Starting rooms per night go as low as $79 currently. The lowest rate is the Deluxe King Room. The room contains a CD player, air condition, a king sized bed, mini bar, television(cable and satellite TV included), safety deposit box, a telephone, bath, shower, and air condition.

Housekeeping and a weekday newspaper is also offered. The luxury hotel suite, known as the Parlor King is the most expensive room, which goes at $199 per night. The Parlor King offers the same services, but includes a deluxe suite featuring a master bedroom. A armchair and queen pull out couch is included. The hotel also has an award-winning restaurant.

Raffaello Hotel

The Raffaello contains 160 rooms. Breakfast is included for $15 dollars extra. Children younger than 14 can stay for free. For an extra adult included a added $24 a night. This is a non-smoking hotel, that has European architectural style. The hotel contains Italian cuisine. The cheapest rooms per night run at $109 dollars. The King Room and Double Double Room offer the same rates per night. The King room services include Air conditioning, Ironing Board, TV(cable and satellite), DVD player, mini bar, WiFi, video games, pay TV, phone, air conditioner, in-room internet kitchenette, one king sized bed and alarm clock.

The double double contains all of the same services, including a microwave, baby cot, and comes with two twin beds. The Grand Executive Suite is the most expensive, which goes at only $189 a night, though. They have the same accessories, which include a king sized bed, along with a living area that contains a sofa couch. The Grand Executive Suite is quite spacious.

Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare

The Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare has over 500 rooms. The luxury hotel also features their very own art gallery. They also have a Montrose Theatre for guests to be entertained. Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare isn't quite downtown, but is just 14 miles from downtown Chicago. The luxury hotel is next to O'Hare International Airport, and 10 miles from Wrigley Field, where the Chicago Cubs play baseball. Standard Room, 2 Double beds, and 1 King Bed Deluxe rooms go for $159.00 a night. A deposit is required for these rates. Otherwise these rooms go for $199 a night. The most expensive package includes the 1 bedroom suite, with best available rate breakfast. This room goes for $314 a night. Without breakfast the price is $299.

One of the benefits of the Intercontinental Chicago O'Hare is that pets are allowed. However, no children are allowed. The amenities and services that are offered are tea & coffee, baby sitting, alarm clock, Wifi Internet, 2 phone lines, 37 inch plasma TV, safety deposit box, premium cable, mini bar, hair dryer, and Ipod. The hotel is disabled access as well.

Crowne Plaza hotel Chicago Metro

The Crowne plaza offers excellent rates currently. $135.00 for a Deluxe room with a deposit required. The same rates are also offered for 2 double beds. Luxury Suites are currently available for under 200 dollars. Only the King Bed Suite with breakfast goes for $219. The hotel consists of 299 rooms. The Amenities and services come with tea, coffee, safety deposit box, baby sitting, 27 inch flat panel TV, air conditioning, radio, telephone with direct dial, and hairdryer. Pets are allowed, children aren't.
