Cheapest Outdoor Indiana Water Parks
The Cheapest Outdoor Indiana Water Parks
Indiana summers can be hot, and one of the most refreshing (not to mention fun) ways to stay cool is a visit to one of Indiana's outdoor water parks. The three biggest and most economical water parks in Indiana are Deep River Water Park, Indiana Beach's Water Park, and Holiday World's Splashin' Safari.Deep River Water Park
Crown Point, Indiana is home to the Deep River Water Park. Regular daily admission here is only $18.95, and Indiana residents get a $2.00 discount! With a wave pool, two lazy rivers, and a ton of fast and fun slides, Deep River is the cheapest and one of the largest water parks in Indiana! Here are their 2009 ticket prices:Daily rates: 10am - 6pm:
Regular admission- $18.95
Under 46"- $10.95
12 months & under- Free
Senior* - $15.95
After 2pm rates:
Regular admission- $16.95
under 46"- $8.95
Senior* - $13.95
Indiana resident discount- $2.00 off all of the above rates.
Indiana Beach's Ideal Beach Water Park
Indiana Beach's Ideal Beach is another decently sized water park, but it lacks some of the attractions available at Deep River and Splashin' Safari. The water park at Indiana Beach consists mainly of slides, a lazy river, and access to a portion of Lake Shafer. The real draw here is the other attractions at Indiana Beach, including their roller coasters. 2009 combo wristband prices at Indiana Beach are:Combo Wristband Prices:
48” and Over= $35.95
Under 48''= $25.95
Children two years and under are free
The water park is open June-August from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Holiday World And Splashin' Safari Water Park
The Splashin' Safari water park may be the most expensive, but it's also my favorite. Included in the nearly $40 admission price is access to all of the attractions that Holiday World has to offer (some of the nation's top rated roller coasters) and free Pepsi products and sunscreen! The water park has a wave pool, lazy river, and a bunch of slides, including Pilgrim's Plunger the world's tallest water ride! Admission prices (2009) for Holiday World and Splashin' Safari are:General Admission - $39.95
Guest-Under-54"/Senior (Age 60+) - $29.95
Two Consecutive Days (General Admission) - $59.95
Two Consecutive Days (Guest-Under-54"/Senior) - $49.95
Children 2 and Under FREE!
Indiana Dunes - A Water Park Alternative
In addition to these three outdoor water parks you have an even cheaper alternative, the Indiana Dunes State Park! Here you can enjoy the beaches of Lake Michigan in Indiana!
