Chest Hair Transplant

With so many people today becoming more and more aware of their cosmetic appearance, the market for cosmetic enhancement products is booming more than ever. One of the greatest demons known to man is hair loss. Considered by some to be even worse than obesity, hair loss easily ranks at the top of the most hated milestones in a person's life. Whether you are young, old, male or female... hair loss gets to just about everybody's psyche. One day you are enjoying a full head of hair. But then comes the dreaded day where you look in the mirror and all of a sudden you become aware of the fact that your hairline is receding.

As soon as this happens, people begin to look around for solutions. When you browse the web, you will be spammed to death with advertisements about vitamine supplements, topicals, drugs, toupes, wigs and surgeries. How is a person ever going to find out what will work best for him or her personally? My own experience is that the vitamin supplements don't do anything so you can just forget about those. Ofcourse, a healthy diet will help you hang on to your hair longer. But vitamins alone won't be able to do that job. The topicals and the drugs are also effective, but only while you keep using them. The topicals are fairly expensive. Drugs such as finasteride and dutasteride will sometimes be paid for by your health insurance company.

The only method that gives you permanent results is also the most drastic one. You know what they say, right? No pain, no gain. This is certainly true in the world of hair loss. A hair transplant can be a very invasive surgery. In the past, a strip of donor hair was excised from the back of your head. This always left you with a big wound that required many weeks or even months of healing. Almost always, the resulting scar stretches. Nowadays, you often see hair transplant clinics that will excise hair follicles individually, leaving you with lots of tiny scars. This is considered to be less invasive than strip excision.

Chest Hair Transplant

Even better, you can have a chest hair transplant done these days. Let's say you feel you don't have enough hair on top, but you've got plenty of chest hair. In that case, you are eligable for having your chest hair transplanted onto your scalp. Your chest hair may be a lot shorter and curlier than your scalp hair, but once it's transplanted to your head it takes on the properties of the rest of your scalp hair. Imagine that. Not only do you get rid of your excess chest hair, you get extra hair on top of your head. You don't even have to donate your own head hair from the back of your head. Other places of the body can also be used to donate hair from, it doesn't necessarily have to be the chest.

It's a great way of getting a relatively non invasive hair transplant. Put those body hairs of your to good use and have them transplanted to your head! If you'd like to see some photos of regular transplants, why not have a look at these celebrity hair replacement pictures?
