Chia Seed and Good Health

The Chia plant has been discovered by the professors of the University of Arizona, in their quest to encounter new crops for experimental and commercial use. They have tested the Chia and observed in their researches that it is the most nutritious among plants ever discovered to provide the human body with the most essential nutrients to repair damaged cells, promote a healthy heart, and reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

Over the last two decades, a revolution in medicine has been developed that promotes the importance of a healthy diet and sound mind and body. Due to the transformation of the corporate and industrial world that requires most people to work longer hours, the necessity to maintain good health has been taken for granted. Thanks to the ingenuity and curiosity of scientists, nutritionists, dietitians, and health experts, the knowledge on what truly constitutes good health has been improved. Gone are the days when people believe that all it takes are the right food supplements to support the body despite hectic schedules.

It is now proven that in order to reduce of risk of several diseases cardiovascular exercises are critical to release toxins in the body resulting from the food we eat. Simultaneously, a healthy, balanced diet must be done with regular exercises to free the body from unnecessary fats that may build up within the body.

Having mentioned that a healthy diet is imperative tour over-all health, black or white chia seeds are good choices to mix with your favorite dish or drinks. For example, you can add it to a bottle of water or fruit juice without worrying about the smell or taste. You may also add it to your morning oatmeal, cereal, and yogurt as well as to puddings and salad dressings.

Once you have a bag of the chia seeds, you can think of many more ways to add it to your daily meals to help hydrate you and make your digestive system function properly, to help you feel full longer to avoid unnecessary snacks, and keep you from buying those other boxed or bottled diet pills.
