Zesty Chicken Wings

Spicy barbecue wings that are really easy to make.

What you'll need to make zesty chicken wings;
1/2 cups corn syrup
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup cider vinegarWings(73436)Credit: google images
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
3 pounds chicken wings
   In a saucepan, combine the first eight ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to simmer and cook uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes or until thickened. Place the wings in a well-greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, turning once. Brush with sauce and bake 20 to 25 minutes longer, turning and basting once more.
   10 to 12 servings.

Raspberry Glazed Wings
  Fruity glazed wings.
3/4 cup seedless raspberry jam
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 pounds chicken wings
   In a saucepan, combine jam, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic and pepper. Bring to a boil, boil for 1 minute. Place the wings in a large bowl, add the raspberry mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 4 hours. Line a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking sheet foil, grease the foil heavily. Using a slotted spoon and reserving the marinade, place wings in the baking pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, turn once. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, bring the marinade to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 10 to 15 minutes or until thickened. Brush over wings and bake 20 to 25 minutes more.
   10 to 12 servings

Spicy Hot Wings
   Baked hot wings served with a creamy dipping sauce.

2 pounds chicken wings
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 to 5 teaspoons hot pepper sauce, depending on taste
3/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
   For the sauce;
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon dried minced onion
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 cup blue cheese
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon ground mustard
 Tip; also good served with ranch dressing.

   Place wings in a 15 x 10 x 1 inch greased baking pan. Combine butter, hot pepper sauce, garlic salt and paprika, pour over wings. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn and bake for 20 to 25 minutes more. While wings are baking, combine the sour cream, onion, milk, blue cheese, garlic salt and mustard in a blender. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into a small bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. When wings are done, drain, put on serving platter and serve along with dipping sauce, celery sticks and cucumber slices.
   Makes 6 to 8 servings.

Taco Wings
Really easy and very tasty.

2-1/2 pounds chicken wings
1/4 cup cornmeal
1 envelope taco seasoning mix
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon salt

   Combine cornmeal, taco mix, parsley flakes and salt in a bowl or large heavy-duty plastic bag, add the chicken wings, stir or shake to coat. Place in a single layer on two 15 x 10 x 1 inch greased baking pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, turn and bake for 10 minutes longer.
   6 to 8 servings.
