This is the most delicious and moist cake I have ever made. I always make it for any party I have or need to bring something to. You can cut it up before the party and it is a perfect finger food. People love this stuff! You may even want to make two cakes instead of one. It is extra moist because of the pudding in it. It's buttery, chocolatey, and wonderful.
What you will need:
* Boxed yellow cake mix of any brand.
* 1 small box of instant vanilla flavor pudding. 3.4 ounce
* 4 large eggs
* 1 cup of whole milk
* 1 cup of vegetable or canola oil
* 1 cup chocolate chips
* Powdered sugar to dust on the top if desired
Step 1. Get out your bundt pan and grease it with crisco. Then put some flour in it and shake it around and tap it until all of the crisco is covered with a thin layer of flour. It helps to do this over the sink to avoid a mess.
Step 2. In a medium size bowl, add in the boxed cake mix, milk, oil, eggs, and the box of pudding mix.
Step 3. Mix this until it is all incorporated and moistened on low, then switch to medium and mix for 2 minutes.
Step 4. Add in your chocolate chips and fold them through the batter so they are evenly distributed. I like to use the mini chocolate chips, but you can use regular sized ones or even finely chopped chocolate bars.
Step 5. Pour the batter into your pan and tap the pan on the counter to get out any bubbles.
Step 6. Bake it at 350 degrees for about an hour. It may take 5 minutes more or less, so check it and see if a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean. Then it is done.
Step 7. When it is done, let it cool for 10 minutes then invert it onto a serving plate and sprinkle it with powdered sugar. Cut it up into slices and serve.
