Trash cans for indoor use are typically not expensive items. Simple waste paper baskets can cost between $5 and $10 to purchase. However closed containers such as flip top or step-on cans can be more expensive and prices up to $50 are not unusual. As they are typically larger, outdoor trash cans will cost more and prices of up to $200 are common for the better known brand names.
