Christmas Cocktails

Holiday parties are here! Perhaps you are planning on having a few friends over for an intimate get-together or even a large gathering of family, and you want to serve up a few special cocktails. Imagine your guests' faces when you serve up something extra seasonal and extra fun! Here are a few cocktails I came up with over the years to celebrate the holiday season with style.
Frosty Martini:
4 Oz. Vanilla Flavored Vodka
4 Oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
4 Oz. Peppermint Liqueur
In a large mixing tin filled with ice, add all of the above ingredients and shake well. Strain into four chilled martini glasses and enjoy!
Frozen Christmas Cookie:
Break out your blender and some ice cream for this wonderful frozen drink! In a blender mix the following ingredients and blend well. I came up with this one when I had a bunch of leftover cookies after Christmas, so you may make this one closer to New Year! This serves four people, and my glassware of choice is usually a chilled pint glass.
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
4 Oz. Kahlua Liqueur
2 Oz. Bailey's Irish Liqueur
2-3 Oz Milk or cream
3 TBS crushed Christmas cookies, any kind you have left over
Hot Peppermint Cocoa:
This is a traditional hot drink that many people love on cold wintery nights. This drink will stay warmer if you preheat the mug with hot water before making the cocktail!
Four coffee mugs or footed glass mugs, preheated
Four packs of hot cocoa mix
Boiling water
Four 1 1/4 Oz. shots of Peppermint Liqueur
Whipped Cream
Pour the shots into each mug. Add the hot cocoa powder, followed by the water and mix well. Top with whipped cream.
