Coffee Pods
Behold The Convenience Of Coffee Pods
It's hard to deny the convenience of Coffee pods. With the rise of the super busy lifestyle that many are leading, these convenient coffee packages are a life saving invention. All too often, we are drinking our coffee on the go, so we don't have the time to brew an entire pot of coffee, and most coffee machines don't make a single cup of coffee very well. That leaves going to Starbucks or other cafes to get our caffeine fix, and in this economy buying coffee from an expensive cafe isn't always an option. Enter the coffee pod- it is the solution for the on the go, yet still budget conscious coffee addict.Nobody likes an instant cup of coffee, and those who do... well let's just say they don't know what they are missing. However, until now that was one of the only ways to get a quick cup o joe. Coffee pods fix this as well and bridges the gap between instant coffee, and brewing your own pot.
In essence, a coffee pod is a prepackaged amount of coffee grounds in a filter. These come in many forms, Keurig and Tassimo both are popular single cup coffee makers, but their coffee pods come in proprietary forms of the Keurig K-Cup and the Tassimo T Disc. There are more coffee makers though that will accept the more standard coffee pod that is just a cloth filter with grounds inside. These pods will make one cup of coffee per pod usually, and they do it very quickly. Quite often you can brew your coffee and drink it in under 1 minute... though you might burn your mouth if you try. The pods make it as simple as inserting the pod and pushing the button on the brewer. You get a near instant, quality, and fresh cup of frothy coffee on demand and when you need it most.
Companies like Senseo coffee pods, E.S.E., Illy, Folgers, and many others package their coffee in this form. Though these pods are not cheaper than buying your own coffee and brewing it yourself, they are a welcome compromise if one doesn't have time to brew their own pot. They are also a life saver in a busy office where everybody has their own tastes in coffee since they come in a wide variety of flavors, brews, and strengths.
