Coleman Two Burner Propane Stove Review

By Edited Dec 2, 2015 0 0

Camping tends to be a tradition for a lot of people and in the past it used to be a very rugged way of doing things. Though the ruggedness appealed to some people, it just didn't work for many. Today, things are a little more convenient when you go camping and what I'm referring to is the Coleman Two Burner Propane Stove. This is a very simple designed propane stove that has two burners, so that you can cook anything that you really want.

A typical person that goes camping will pack some food to eat while they're out there and it doesn't usually amount to much. Things like hotdogs and marshmallows are very popular items, but they're quite boring when you have to eat them the entire trip. You need something good and this is why this Coleman propane camp stove is such a great item to own. It allows you to bring a lot of the comforts of food with you, while out in the middle of the woods camping.

Something that I really like about this particular item is that it has two burners that product 10,000 BTUs of heat, which is more than enough for cooking anything. It uses "PerfectFlow" technology that allows the propane to distribute evenly, so that each burner has consistent heat while you're cooking. It might seem like a minor detail, but consistent heat is quite important for judging cooking times. The two burners run on a propane cylinder, which is much smaller than what you would attack to a regular barbeque.

If you have the burners on high, you'll get about 60 minutes of cooking time with the Coleman Two Burner Propane Stove. It might not seem like a lot of time, but when you consider the size of the propane cylinder you are using, it is plenty. I would advise that you take at least two propane cylinders with you when you go camping if you're going for a few days with multiple people. One cylinder would probably be fine if you're going alone for the weekend.

Something else that I like is the versatility of this stove because you don't have to use it just for camping. You can cook outdoors in the summer with it because it really isn't that much different than a barbeque. It being a stove gives you a little more versatility than a BBQ. Overall I think the Coleman Two Burner Propane Stove is a really nice item to own if you're a camper. It retails for just under $80, but you can typically find it on sale for less.
