Most people have no idea that there is actually a Comcast low income service. Offers may come to your home every day from other cable and internet providers who try to lull you away with cheap monthly internet or cable service plans.
But no plan really rivals that of Comcast Internet Essentials.
Many more people have no idea that internet alone averages most households somewhere around $75 dollars a month.
This doesn’t even include the bundling of cable, internet and voice services. This is why Comcast came on the scene offering low income internet services to people who qualify.
Consider the that fact that nearly every 5 years or so, your internet bill rises close to $20 dollars a month. So five years from now your monthly cable bill at $75 dollars could be closer to $90 dollars. Just think what you could do with that money, especially if you could get your bill to under $10 dollars a month.
That’s exactly what Comcast’s low income internet program does. You only pay $9.95 dollars a month if you qualify.
Let’s also face the fact that to make your child more competitive in school and in life, they need access to the internet. Having this access opens your child’s world to the limitless possibilities. Consider the fact that the internet also opens up your world too. You can get online training, learn a new skill and expand your own universe from the comfort of your home. And this cheap internet program does just that.
So what’s the catch?
Well there are a couple of things you should be aware of. First, obviously you’ll need to live in a Comcast coverage area.
- You’ll also have to have a Comcast account in good standing, if you have one. Meaning it cannot be overdue.
- You can’t have unreturned Comcast equipment.
- You can’t have subscribed for Comcast internet in the last 90 days.
- You must have at least one child in a free lunch program at school.
If you can meet all of these guidelines, give Comcast Essentials a call at 1-855-846-8376 for an application.
You’ll be asked to fill it out and return it substantiating proof of your child’s lunch program at their school. Comcast will let you know when approved.
What’s even better is that you’ll also qualify for a computer for less than $150 dollars. And your bill will never go up. There aren't any activation fees or equipment fees either.
Unfortunately there aren’t similar programs for cable service that Comcast is offering at the time of this publication. But you might want to consider, getting rid of your cable altogether and download popular apps to your computer or smart tv, including Netflix or Hulu.
Did you know that you can even stream either app via your gaming device, like Wii.
We all sometimes face hard times, where we have to scale back just to make due. Unfortunately, you’re child’s future and ability to get ahead shouldn’t be compromised. Cheap high-speed internet can be a reality with the Comcast program.
Just remember that you’ll get speeds up to 1.5 Mbps. And if you really want to save more money, consider removing your cable altogether and streaming your favorite tv shows via your gaming device or laptop.
Remember that once a Comcast customer, they’ll always keep you updated on low income services and offers.
