While they are not always easy to notice they are always there. Whether you know it or not, you are probable in close proximity to one right now. I am talking about pests. Every day you walk by, sit close to or even sleep close to them.

The term pest stands for an annoying or troublesome animal or insect. The most common household pets are flies, ants, mice, rats, spiders, bedbugs, cockroaches, and raccoons. The fact that pests are not easily noticeable allows them to breed freely and grow their colonies and in some cases in and around our homes. If you have noticed a pest problem, then it is imperative that you start working on it as soon as possible. Whether you decide on taking some action on your own, or consulting a professional you should take care of the issue before it is too late. Bedbugs

Bedbugs are pest insects that use endothermal animals as feed source by sucking blood. They can be found all around five continents. Bedbugs are reddish-brown with flat body insects that and can get bigger up to 5 mm long. Since almost entirely nocturnal pests they mostly vigorous at nighttime when they are seeking out the hosts. Nevertheless, they can be observed in the daytime this situation could indicate a very high infestation. Commonly the detection of bed bugs Infestations can be very difficult because the nature of habits of the parasites. The process of eliminating of bedbugs takes time, and requires deeds of removing all living parasites and their eggs. Cleaning and washing of infested clothing and furniture pieces are normal way of getting rid of bedbugs.

Cockroaches

Cockroaches are prehistoric or relict insects that have been with us since the dawn of humanity. Cockroaches are always associated with human habitations. Our predecessors could not get rid of them no matter how hard they tried. The size of cockroaches can vary from just a few millimeters to nine centimeters depends on species. Cockroaches are highly adaptive not only for rapidly changing environment but for pesticides. However, there are some basic rules can be applied to control population of all species of cockroaches. First of al constantly clean up all spilled food around your house. Second of all use killing sprays behaving refrigerator and hardly reach zones.  Remove all dead cockroaches because they can carry egg capsules. If you found cockroaches on your property immediately call exterminator to prevent the infestation. 

Mice

Mouse is a small mammal rodent. The most common specie is house mouse might be considered for many people as a pet. However, mice are a huge problem for households. They can penetrate through walls and small holes by looking for warm and safe place. Mice do not like moving on short grass and will avoid traveling on it. This knowledge can be used to prevent your property from these cute rodents. Getting rid of all holes in walls, doors, pipes can help with preventing mice infestation. Look and cover up all food sources because mice are coming to your house for food and warmth.  Always spill on mouse’s droppings bleach and do not sweep or vacuum them since they might carry deadly hantavirus that can be transfer to humans through out contacts. Place traps with tempting bait along walls and check them on daily basis. Always use gloves when removing mouse from a trap.
