Community Colleges In Idaho provide excellent academic and athletic programs while keeping the cost of college cheap.

College of Southern Idaho

The College of Southern Idaho is located in Twin Falls Idaho. College of Southern Idaho has a strong history as a community college in Southern Idaho. The College of Southern Idaho is located in the Magic Valley area. The College of Southern Idaho has a strong athletic program. The CSI Golden Eagles have a nationally ranked teams in many sports. The College of Southern Idaho Golden Eagles Ladies Volleyball team recently won it's 9th National Junior College Associations Nation Championship.

College of Western Idaho

The College of Western Idaho is Idahos newest community college. The College of Western Idaho was only formed in 2007. If the College of Western Idaho follows the same path as the College Of Southern Idaho did then you will see a strong academic program along with additional athletic teams providing more chances for young men and women to play sports.

The College of Western Idaho is located in Nampa Idaho and will provide a cheaper way to attend your first 2 years of college before enrolling in near by Boise State for the final 2 years.

Eastern Idaho Technical College

The Eastern Idaho Technical College is located in Idaho Falls Idaho. The Eastern Idaho Technical College has a wide range of classes and lower tuition rates then Idaho State University.

Lewis-Clark State College

The Lewis-Clark State College located in Lewiston Idaho is nationally know for its baseball team. Although Lewis-Clark State College is an extremely small school with less than 3700 students the baseball team has manage to win multiple baseball championships in he NAIA.

North Idaho College is in the town of Coeur d'Alene. Sarah Palin attended North Idaho College for one semester until she transferred to the University Of Idaho.

A recent survey of the tuition's for all of Idahos public community colleges show that the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls Idaho has the lowest tuition rates in the State. The College of Southern Idaho is an excellent school. If you want to receive your associates degree cheaply you can at the College of Southern Idaho. CSI has an excellent vo-tech program.

At the College of Southern Idaho you can learn culinary arts in a modern kitchen and restaurant set up on campus. You can learn diesel mechanics and work on actual tractors and big rigs. The College of Southern Idaho offers many other programs including Nursing, Hospitality management, and welding.

When considering a college to attend in Idaho take a close look at the community colleges. The tuition rates are cheaper but the education is just as good if not better than what you would receive for your first two years at a 4 year college or University.

Community colleges in Idaho are also popular with non traditional students. The community colleges in Idaho also offer many evening classes as well as classes off campus in smaller communities.
