Copycat Recipes From Restaurants

By Edited May 8, 2016 0 0

Are you looking for copycat recipes from restaurants?  Well nowadays there are a lot of options online for you to find these recipes.  Some are free and some are paid, but they’re all great resources that can allow you to recreate your favorite meal from your favorite restaurant at home.

In this article, I’ll highlight some of the options out there and give you my thoughts on each.  In no particular order, here are the top resources I found for copycat recipes:

CopyKat.com – CopyKat was started by Stephanie Manley in 1995 and has grown to include over 1,500 free recipes if you sign up for a free account.  Stephanie also offers her book called the Dining Out at Home Cookbook which should be pretty self-explanatory.

TopSecretRecipes.com – Todd Wilbur is a well-known celebrity chef.  He currently has a show on CMT all about restaurant recipes and how to do them at home.  He has an eBook that you can download from his site with 450 recipes.  It’s called the Super Duper Totally Authorized Top Secret Recipes eBook.  You can also get recipes on his website, but it requires a paid membership.  If you sign up for his newsletter though you receive free recipes in your email every week.

CDKitchen.com - Another site with a lot of free restaurant recipes.  The first one I saw when I found the site was Panera Bread Broccoli Cheese Soup.  Yum!  These recipes are all free and readers review them talking about how it compares to the restaurant, etc.

RecipeSecrets.net – This is a great site that gives you several options for getting restaurant recipes.  You can sign up for the email newsletter and they’ll email you recipes.  You can interact with other people in their user forums and swap recipes that way or you can check out their blog and find recipes there.  The user community here is very active so if that’s important to you this may be your favorite recipe site.

RecipeGoldmine.com – The last site on my list.  This site keeps it simple and just lists the recipes alphabetically by restaurant name.  Very quick to navigate and they have a ton of recipes.  I did a quick search to find one of the greatest things ever and they had them – Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits!  Awesome.

So as you can see there are a ton of resources out there online for finding recipes of your favorite restaurant dishes.  If you try the sites above I’m sure you’ll find that one of them becomes your go-to site for copycat recipes from restaurants.
