Pros

The laugh out loud humor was great and at most of the time on point with the story line. Grade A actors and actresses, the chemistry is there throughout the whole movie.

Cons

The comedy is sometimes overshadowed by the awkwardness of trying to hard to be funny. The story falls of course for a couple of moments time and time again through out the film.

Full Review

Going into a movie that I already as a distaste for and didn't want to see, my expectations were really low. I would have to say that I was totally wrong in opinion, this movie was funny and actually had a story line. Long story short, the four couples were having troubles in their relationships no matter if they wanted to admit them to each other or not and decided to go on a retreat. They discovered that these under lying problems came to the surface and would decide by the end of the trip if they were going to stay together or not. I thought the problems that were brought up despite the comedy were real life issues and were handled as such. Great acting especially Vince Vaughn, since he has been on of my favorite comedians for a couple years now. I do suggest couples go and watch this film and really think about some of the somewhat sensitive topics that come up.

In Closing

Its a solid B, I took off a couple of points for the Cons but besides that, it made me think and re-evaulate my relationship with my girlfriend, for the better. Who knows it might be even do the same for you and your special other.
