Creatine as a Natural Low Testosterone Booster and Weight Control

By | Aug 6, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Creatine is within our own bodies and in many types of food eaten as a daily regimen. It is a powdered substance that is found in most muscle building and testosterone enhancers. These enhancers can be found in drugs, vitamin supplement and herbal products. A product that has grown to over a $20 billion dollar business.

Creatine Produces Body Mass

Creatine is an amino acid that was discovered by a French scientist named Chevaul in 1832 as a part of meat. Years of research finally deduced that it did not fully excrete from the body. In the twentieth century, Folin and Denis discovered the acid within muscles of cats and then later it was shown the same in humans. In 1928 it was documented to produce body mass and later in the 1990's it was more fully investigated.

Testosterone Booster for Muscle Bulk

Testosterone booster products bring about an 'explosive muscle' compound that enhances athletes on all levels within the NBA, MLB and NHL teams.

"Creatine use is associated with increase in muscle bulk, due to two factors: the increased amount of work allowed by quicker regeneration of ATP and the fact that Creatine in muscle cells binds water, thereby physically increasing bulk."

Side Effects of Creatine

Creatine monohydrate increases muscle strength and enables heavier lifting by hydrating the muscles by adding water to the mass. There have also been reports shown that no benefits are added so this is subject to the person and not the overall of subjects using the supplements. Drink plenty of water when taking Creatine and it has not been evaluated by the FDA for safety in usage. There have been reports of Creatine being more effective when taken with carbohydrates.

Benefits of Creatine

When produced normally in our bodies through the kidney, liver and pancreas and as within foods we eat such as meat and fish there is an intense muscle activity for a short amount of time. This is called adenosine triphosphate or ATP. It is stored in the muscles of the body and known as phosphocreatine. Athletes will 'overload' their dosages for a few days to increase the ability of the muscles to work harder and better within the sports genre.

Creating Warnings in Hydroxycut

The products that use Creatine as a testosterone booster and weight loss such as Hydroxycut have been recalled by the FDA due to cases of liver damage and possible death. There is also a possibility of muscle cramps, heat-related illness and blood reduction. If taken with certain drugs, such as probenecid for gout, Tagamet, anti-inflammatory drugs with ibuprofen and Advil. There are possible reactions that can produce a stroke.
