Credit Card Holder Wallets have a new Look
The trend today is to use credit cards or debit cards instead of cash, so manufacturers are designing new credit card holder wallets. The cards created such a bulk that people who carry their wallets in their back pocket started having serious back problems. So the drive is on to design the perfect wallet for carrying your cards, without causing injury.
The ladies clutch purse, also known as the checkbook wallet or checkbook organizer is very popular. It ranges from about 7-1/2" long by 4" wide and holds your checkbook plus register, usually at least 5 cards plus your id, a slot for cash, a pen holder, and sometimes a compartment for change. They may just fold over or close by snaps, Velcro or zipper, so you have everything you need in one spot. The passport wallet is along the same lines, but also incorporates a full length vertical pocket for documents as well as more room for receipts and other items you might need while traveling. This measures 9" by 5".
The trucker wallet is more along these lines, allowing pockets for the checkbook and registry as well as cash, credit cards and id. It comes with a 13.5" chain with a key ring on the end for a little security. The boot wallet, measuring 6-3/4" by 3-3/4" is also designed for men and holds your checkbook as well as your credit cards and id while being thin enough to carry inside your boot for safety.
The armored car wallet measures 4-3/4" by 4" when zipped shut and has three credit card slots plus an id holder. Two new innovative credit card holder wallets are the As Seen on TV Thin Wallet and the ACM Wallet/credit card holder. The Thin Wallet looks a lot like a regular bi-fold wallet, but is able to do away with some of the bulk from credit cards by placing them in clear side by side vertical pockets. The ACM Wallet holds either 6 or 12 cards, which you access by pressing a button. Upon pushing the button marked debit, two bank cards will be ejected so you can choose which one you want. The claim is to protect your cards from the usual wear of sliding them in and out of a traditional wallet. It comes with a money clip capable of holding up to 20 bills folded in half. The traditional bi-fold and tri-fold wallets continue to be popular and come with various slots for cards.
