Crows Feet Treatment For Men: Keep Your Eyes Looking Young And Healthy

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 0 0

Don't let your eyes give away your age, use a good crows feet treatment for men and turn back the clock on those wrinkles in the corner of your eyes.

It's unfortunate, but as we age, our skin gets "older." By that I mean it looses the elasticity it had back in our teens and 20s. This happens for a variety of reasons, including the natural aging process and exposure to elements that aren't kind to your complexion, such as environmental toxins, sunshine and even stress.

The cosmetic industry has naturally cashed in on this phenomenon, and sells millions - perhaps even billions - of dollars worth of skin and eye creams to guys who want to turn back the clock. Sadly, it's a predator-type mentality, with lots of hype and very few results. That doesn't mean that crows feet treatment cream doesn't work, it just means that you'll need to weed through a bunch of garbage before you find one that actually lives up to its claims.

But before I get to that, let's check out a few ways to prevent the problem in the first place. Or at the very least, delay it for a bit.

How To Prevent Crows Feet For Men

Guys, I'll be the first to admit that we aren't very good at taking care of ourselves. We're tough, we stubborn and the idea of wearing sunscreen as a kid or teenager is flat out, well, wimpy. Right? Wrong. At least wrong in the sense that sun exposure is one of the leading causes of crows feet in men.

Prevention truly is the best defense against crows feet. So if you're a young buck, do what you can now to delay the onset of unsightly eye wrinkles. Or, if you've already got the tell-tale lines in your eyes, it's not too late to slow down the process. Besides, even the best eye cream won't be nearly as effective if you keep subjecting yourself to the same situations that caused them to begin with.

Wear Sunscreen

Stick to a decently high SPF number, and be sure to get plenty of coverage around your eyes. Look for the waterproof variety, so that way it won't run into your eyes when you sweat. And don't be afraid to really slather it on; some even comes in a purple color that fades as its rubbed in properly.

Drink Water

What can't water do? Part of the reason our skin gets leathery - hence crows feet - is because it gets dehydrated. That's not necessarily your fault, because our skin tends to carry less moisture as we age, which you can't control. But you can make every attempt to keep enough moisture in your body via plenty of water that you should be able to slow it down pretty well.

Wear Sunglasses

Squinting in the sun takes its toll on the corners of your eyes. Doing that for 30 or 40 years will cause some permanent wrinkles along your eye line, aka crows feet. Wearing a good pair of sunglasses should keep you from squinting as much. Personally, I'd opt for polarized lenses, because that will also cut out the reflective glare on surfaces like water and glass.

Crows Feet Treatment Creams For Men

Remember earlier when I mentioned that a lot of the crows feet creams on the market are nothing more than marketing hype? Well, I meant it. That doesn't go for everything, but the vast majority for sure. And it's often hard to differentiate junk from gold, because even the commission sales folks at the cosmetic and department stores are willing to simply pass along company manifestos as if they are the absolute truth. (Don't blame them, most of these folks are just neieve).

I'm not going to lie to you, you'll probably end up going through several types before you find one that works. And I'm going to give you a big reason to hate me: I'm not going to tell you which ones work and which ones don't. Why not? Because I'm a firm believer that what works for one person might not work for another. We all have different body chemistries, which will react differently to similar stimulus.

But what I will do is give you some suggestions for finding the ultimate crows feet treatment cream for men. I implore you to take them to heart in your search for the holy grail of crows feet creams:

Follow The Directions

This might seem obvious, but you'd be surprised at how many men don't follow - or even read - the directions on the label. How can you expect anything to work if you dont' use it properly? If it says to use a dime-sized amount every morning, do it. If it says to apply it twice per day, do it. Give the stuff the opportunity to work before moving on to another type.

Stick With It For A Couple Of Months

Crows feet creme won't work overnight. Even the best stuff takes several weeks to even show the faintest signs of attacking your eye wrinkles. Don't give up if you don't get the results you want right away. Give the stuff plenty of time to work.

Ask Your Friends Who Don't Have Crows Feet

We all have that one friend who seems like he never gets any older. Chances are, he's taking plenty of precautions "behind the scenes" to ensure that his skin stays strong and youthful, even if tries to play it off as if he's just genetically lucky. Guys are lucky if they don't have crows feet by their mid 30s. If they're in their 40s and still have youthful eyes, I can almost guarantee that they've got a trick up their sleeve. So why not ask them what they've been using - isn't that the best testimonial you could ever get? It's straight from a person who literally has the eyes you want.

In Conclusion

Look, your skin is going to age, it's just a fact of life. But that doesn't mean you have to simply accept it. Fight back. It's never too late to take the preventative actions that I recommended earlier, nor is it ever too late to find a great cream. Remember, the best crows feet treatment for men is to take this two-pronged approach: Prevention and treatment.
