This is a tasty Crunchy Nut and Raisin Coleslaw salad recipe that adults and kids will enjoy. It is fast to prepare, sweet, attractive and very gourmet.
Our family really enjoys this salad and we are sure it will impress your guests and be enjoyed by your family too.

Things You'll Need
===Salad Ingredients ===- 1 Red Cabbage, Grated
- 2 Carrot, Peeled and Grated
- 1 Apple, Diced
- 2 Spring Onion, sliced
- Scoop of Craisins® or Raisins
- 4 tbsp Sunflower Seeds
- 6 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 tsp white wine vinegar (optional)
- 2 tbsp natural yogurt
- salt and pepper (optional)
- Knife
- Peeler
- Grater
- 2 Mixing Bowls
- Serving Bowls
Sunflower Seeds are very healthyRoast the sunflower seed in a hot frying pan for about 1 minute. You are looking for a light golden brown color.
Dice the AppleGrate and dice the ingredients as specified. Mix the red cabbage, carrot, apple, spring onion, and sunflower seeds together in a large bowl and set aside.
Sour Cream for salad dressingCombine the mayonnaise, natural yogurt, white wine vinegar (optional) and a little salt and pepper (optional) together and stir. Then mix tis dressing into the salad until the salad is well coated.
Craisins to GarnishServe the coleslaw salad into individual bowls (serves 4). Sprinkle the raisins or Craisins® on top of the salad as a garnish. Serve and enjoy.

Using a commercially prepared creamy salad dressing works if you want to save a little bit of time.

Store coleslaw in the fridge to prevent spoilage

Ingredients are great. Never tried sunflower seeds or sour cream in coleslaw, but will surely do it now with this great recipe. Thanks for sharing Jade.
Sour cream adds a creamy texture - better for you than mayo too.
This sounds real great and I havent used sunflower seeds either nor the craisins. Will definitely have to try this for sure. Like the way you fitted the pictures into your article too.
