Welcome one and all to my first Coffee maker review. In this review I will be covering the Cuisinart DCC-1200 sold at a very reasonable price over at Amazon.com. With this product review it is my aim to bring you all the necessary information that you will need when you come to buying your brand new coffee maker.
First I think we should make sure that we are on the same page. When I come to buy a coffee maker I always like to make sure I have all the information required to make an informed choice. So what I would do is head over to Amazon and check out the reviews there to see what everyone says about it. It can be a little bit irritating however, combing through all those reviews trying to find out which is best. So I will try and summarize everything that I have read in the many review that I have read at Amazon.
The Cuisinart DCC-1200 is a solid coffee maker. It has a lot of the functions of the top-end coffee makers, and although it is a little on the expensive side, there are a lot more expensive coffee makers out there that could cost you way more.
The Key functions that are selling points for the Cuisinart DCC-1200 are as follows:-
The charcoal water filter is in my view, one of this coffee makers greatest features, it saves the hassle of you having to keep changing the paper filters, and is machine washable also. It is most likely because of this filter that the Cuisinart DCC-1200 has such really great tasting coffee.
There are 5 well sounded beeps when the coffee is ready, and this is enough so that you can hear that your coffee is ready almost anywhere in your house. Some people may think this is not such an amazing feature, but I have had plenty of coffee makers that have had no beeping sound when coffee was ready, and you are constantly coming back to check when your coffee is ready.
There is a light on the side of the coffee maker that indicates when it is time for you to clean the machine. It is supposed to be self-cleaning, but really the indicator is just there to let you know it's time to pour some water through to decalcify it. This is a feature missing on many of my previous coffee makers, and I think is yet another reason why this coffee maker makes such good coffee.
I hope this very short review of the Cuisinart DCC-1200 has been helpful to you in some small way.
Thanks very much for reading my infobarrel, I hope to see you all again.
