Custom Trade Show Exhibit Considerations

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Everyone would like to have his or her business standout. Marketing is about the business message standing out and cutting through the clutter. Whatever form of marketing one uses, they want it to be astounding so the message can be heard. A custom trade show exhibit will help a business dominate their conference or convention. The customized tradeshow exhibit will standout among all the cookie-cutter displays.

The lowest cost way to customize a tradeshow exhibit is to work to aggrandize a standard display. That is working extensively on the graphics and utilizing all available accessories. Use accessories like lighting and display headers will help set an exhibit apart. Consider the other elements of a tradeshow booth and use them to one's advantage. Like the podium or any marketing racks could be used in a unique way. The great thing about customizing a standard display is that they are designed to be transportable. They can be used show after show. One of the best ways to get a custom trade show exhibit is to ask a local display company for a proposal. They will sit with a business and get a good idea of tradeshow needs for that business. From that the firm will develop a proposed design and an estimated cost.

One technique is to save a place on the booth that a custom graphic for a particular show can be placed each time. One show it is designed for the statewide conference. The next show it is design for the national show. This will help the display speak to the audience at each event without having to revamp the entire graphics each time.

A full custom trade show exhibit is quite expensive. Typically, an entity that wants such a display will go through a quote or bidding process to find the vendor with the best value. Also, such full custom exhibits are typically only used one time because they are hardly portable. Those uses could be in a long-term setting like a museum or a one-time use at a very important industry convention. What is needed for these exhibits is a lot of space and manpower to set it up. Typically, a lot of manpower is also needed to staff the display, as the display will draw people in by its sheer size and grandeur.

The massive full custom trade show exhibit has few places that it can be used. The fact that they are not portable and the size is huge (some exhibits can even be multistory) has them designed to be in one place. As mentioned you can see such exhibits at museums or see them in special events where there are massive amounts of people. You see them very often at annual events like the Super Bowl or the NBA All-Star week, places where tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people gather for an extended period of time. If a business is in an industry that has one large annual tradeshow planned per year, then a custom trade show exhibit could make fiscal sense.
